Hello again, everyone. Today marks the first of three blog posts I hope to have for you this week, which is basically a continuation of my review of pop music charts in the 1980s. I realize that I neglected to give my data based on the individual charts from 1981 like I had done with 1980 at the end of last year and start of this year. I'll get to that eventually, but for today I thought I would begin 1982 with what my data from the Radio & Records chart revealed (the process of which is explained briefly in the first linked entry). As you'll see in the next entry, Billboard Magazine was decidedly different in 1982. Many songs performed well on thee as opposed to Radio & Records, and vice versa. That blog post will be up either later this evening or tomorrow.
